Wexford have been promoted to Division 2, following a last-gasp win over Westmeath at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
With the clock winding down, Westmeath had possession and a two-point lead over their promotion-chasing rivals.

But a missed attempt at a point gave Wexford one last opportunity, and it was Seán Ryan who hammered in his second goal of the day in the last play, to give Wexford a 2-16 to 1-18 win. 

Goalkeeper Darragh Brooks scored 0-4 from two two point frees, Jack Higgins scored 0-2 and Liam Coleman was presented with Man of  the Match for his contribution on the day.

Wexford go on to play Down in the League Final in Croke Park, Saturday next March 28th at 7.15pm.
